Barge Flashing Fitting
SABS & CSIR Approved
Key Benefits
- No painting or ongoing maintenance required
- Waterproof & hail resistant
- Fire-resistant, UV resistant & corrosion-free
- Excellent heat and sound insulation
- Lightweight design (less structural load)
- Quick and easy installation
- Clean, modern finish (no visible screws)
What makes this system different?
The Roofing System is a next-generation 40 mm synthetic roofing solution designed to overcome common problems found in traditional roofing like IBR metal sheets and concrete tiles.
Unlike conventional roofing, where screws penetrate the surface and can cause leaks over time, this system uses a concealed-fix interlocking design.
- All screws are hidden beneath the roofing sheets
- This reduces the risk of water leakage and corrosion
- Creates a clean, seamless architectural finish
Advanced Material Technology
Manufactured using co-extruded ASA-PVC technology:
- ASA outer layer – protects against UV damage and colour fading
- Reinforced PVC core – provides strength and durability
- Offers long-term weather resistance and structural stability
Compared to Traditional Roofing
Vs IBR Metal Roofing:
- No rust or corrosion
- Reduced heat transfer (cooler interior)
- Less noise during rain
- No exposed screws (less leakage risk)
Vs Concrete Tiles:
- Much lighter (reduces roof load)
- Faster installation
- More resistant to cracking
- Better water resistance
How the System Works
The roof consists of:
- Starter Piece (Starter Plate)
- Main Interlocking Roofing Sheets
Each sheet locks into the next, covering all screws and forming a continuous, strong roofing structure instead of separate panels.
Installation Guidelines
Before Installation:
- Purlin spacing must be 600–800 mm
- Sheets must be cut to the full roof length
- ⚠️ No end-to-end joining or splicing allowed
Installation Steps
- Install Starter Piece
- Secure onto purlins
- Forms the base of the system
- Install First Sheet
- Lock onto starter piece
- Covers starter screws completely
- Fix Right Side of First Sheet
- Secure with screws to base plate
- Screws will be hidden by next sheet
- Install Next Sheet
- Lock over previous sheet
- Conceals screws and continues seamless finish
- Repeat for entire roof
Important Notes
- Sheets cannot be joined or overlapped mid-panel
- Incorrect joining may cause leaks and structural issues
- Handle carefully during transport and installation
- Do not step heavily on sheets before installation
Before installation: sheets are not load-bearing
After installation: system becomes a fully integrated, load-bearing structure with excellent strength and wind resistance
Ideal For
- Modern residential homes
- Commercial buildings
- Any project requiring durability, aesthetics, and low maintenance
